Studio Brief 3: Group Development - Projector

After we had chosen the final logotype, we were then confident in designing the rest of the content required for the exhibition. We had assigned and delegated between ourselves the different roles, however, the projector idea we all worked together to create and visualise.

The projector was to be an interactive element of the exhibition. Pieces of acetate that had different halftone patterns printed on them would have been left at the exhibition so that the public could play with them and arrange them how they would like. This would then provide the opportunity for them to compose their own pattern, and be able to take a picture standing in front of the projector. The idea was to then also add a '#HALFTONE' in lino above or within the space of the projector, so that when the public take the picture they would feel more inclined to write the hashtag/ tag our social media. Furthermore, even if the public didn't tag our social media or write the hashtag, the promotion for the exhibition would still be in the picture in the form of the lino stickers. Such 'selfie area' is very popular in modern culture and would provide a huge public interaction, which in turn would create greater social traction for the exhibition.
