It's a large bar located in the heart of Leeds city centre. It is known for it's night life, boasting 2 separate bars over 2 floors, food/drinks offers & music daily. They serve breakfast, lunch, dinner, coffee and drinks. They take bookings, walk-ins, and party/friends groups. It is said that the bar is "good for children", and has a speciality of outdoor seating. It was named after Hedley Verity, who was a Leeds born Cricket spinner who in 1932, took 10 wickets for 10 runs. He played 40 test matches, taking 100 wickets in a shorter time than any other English bowler.
From their Facebook page and the photographs they post, the main audience that goes to the bar seems to be young people and students. The atmosphere of the bar from the photographs seems to be very energetic and vibrant. The current promotional material for the bar communicates this atmosphere to the audience.
